Post Continuity of the Water Youth Movement and the Youth Task Force for World Water Forum : What’s next ?

The Water Youth Movement is today a network of young people who wish to share and contribute to the 6th world water forum.

How can we ensure the future of our movement, our involvement and engagement for water issues? How can we ensure its continuity with the next Forum and share our results to other event so we build on the Forum’s results and not start everything from scratch again at each international gathering?

How do you think we should go on ? How can we create a link between all Youth & Water Societies and Parliaments for water at a local, national, regional and international level?

Do you think we should build a stronger structure? get legal status? Elect a board and a president ? Or do you thing there are already too many spread associations?

Do you think we should be supported or be part of the World Water Council who organises the World Water Forum every 3 years in order to be more sustainable ? or should we stay independent ?

How can we invite our Korean Friends (who organise the next forum in 2015) to build on the Water Youth Movement to organise Youth presence at the next Forum ?

We should. But the question is how to make a strong effective youth team. It can be helpful: In South Asia we have different environment related youth based non-profit organizations those who are working for sustainable environment building. Example: South Asian Youth Environment Network, Bangladesh Youth Environment Initiative etc. We can connect these regional networks for more effective strong networking. We can decentralize and work at grass root level
